ELIGIBILITY:

The “YOU’RE THE PERFECT TYPE OPPORTUNITY DRAWING” is open to current UC Irvine students who donate blood at the UCI Campus Blood Donor Center in the UCI Student Center between Monday, April 21, 2025, and Friday, April 25, 2025. Participants must be 18 years or older, or 16-17 years old with parental consent (available from the UCI Campus Blood Donor Center), to enter. Members of the Student Center Board of Advisors and employees or affiliates of the UCI Campus Blood Donor Center are not eligible to win.

The opportunity is available only during the UCI Campus Blood Donor Center operating hours from Monday, April 21 – Friday, April 25, 2025.

Operating Hours:

• Monday & Tuesday: 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Wednesday (by appointment only): 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Thursday: 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Eligible students must donate blood at the UCI Campus Blood Donor Center located in the UCI Student Center during operating hours between April 21 – April 25, 2025.

After donating, participants must complete an opportunity drawing entry form (name, UCI email, and prize preferences) and submit it into the designated prize receptacle at the donor center.

Eligible student may also enter without donating blood by submitting a 3-inch × 5-inch card with their full name, UCI email address, and prize preferences to the UCI Campus Blood Donor Center front desk during operating hours between April 21 – April 25, 2025, or by mailing it to Marketing Department, UCI Student Center, A311 Student Center, Irvine, CA 92697, postmarked by April 25, 2025. Mailed entries must be received by May 1, 2025. Limit one entry per person.

Incomplete entries may be disqualified.

Personal information collected will only be used to notify winners and will not be shared.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION:

Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received by Thursday, May 1, 2025. Winners will be notified via UCI email as listed on their entry form.

To claim a prize, winners must respond to the notification email within 72 hours. If a winner fails to respond within this timeframe or is found ineligible, an alternate winner may be selected at the sponsor’s discretion. If a prize remains unclaimed after two alternate winners are selected, the prize may be forfeited.

Up to sixteen (16) prizes will be awarded, with a total prize value of up to $1,295.64 (depending on the number of eligible entries), as follows:

The Student Center Board of Advisors reserves the right to substitute a prize for equal or great value at any time based on availability.
